David Brenner at Atlantic Club
WHO IS HE: Comedian David Brenner has been a regular on the late-night talk show circuit since the early 1970s. In fact, Brenner made a total of 158 guest appearances on The Tonight Show, which is the most by any guest. Brenner also has done several HBO comedy specials and has written five books. The Philadelphia native graduated from Temple University and wrote and directed more than 100 made-for-TV documentaries before becoming a stand-up comic. Nowadays, Brenner can be seen frequently on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and occasionally on “The Daily Show,” “Hardball” and “Hollywood Squares.”
