WHO IS HE: Brad Garrett is best known for playing the role of Robert on television’s hit comedy “Everybody Loves Raymond.” The 6-foot-8 Garrett won three Emmy awards for his portrayal of Raymond’s insecure, sensitive and jealous older brother. Garrett’s first big break in show business came in 1984 when at age 23 he became the first $100,000 grand champion of “Star Search.” An appearance on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” followed soon thereafter and the young comic was on his way. Garrett’s distinctive baritone voice helped to land him a great deal of work as a voice actor. He’s lent his voice to such animated features as “Hulk Hogan’s Rock n’ Wrestling,” “The Transformers,” “A Bug’s Life” and “Finding Nemo.”
WHAT TO EXPECT: At 6 feet, 8 inches tall, Brad Garrett can appear as quite an intimidating character, however the comic inside the large frame is all heart.
