OK, one of my favorite days of the year, Father’s Day, is upon us this Sunday. And while mothers seem to get more attention, it’s time to show Dad some respect by taking him to do something cool this weekend. Here are some suggestions:

Revel: American Cut is offering dads a free shot of Iron Chef Marc Forgione’s famous Banana Jameson with dinner. Iron Chef Jose Garces’ Distrito Cantina is rolling out Papa’s Wings, made sweet and spicy and served with chipotle blue cheese for $8; add a Corraleio Reposada tequila for $10. Garces’ Village Whiskey is pairing one of his signature Village burgers with Garces’ Four Roses Single Barrel bourbon for $20. Lugo Cucina e Vino is offering a free Moretti beer with purchase of $10 or more. Mussel Bar’s all-day BBQ features a special menu by Chef Robert Wiedmaier that includes a grilled 24-ounce bone-in ribeye, grilled bratwurst, smoked half chicken or grilled 16-ounce veal chop, all served with savory sides. And each item includes Wiedmaier’s custom-brewed Antigoon beer. And One is cooking a 16-ounce, bone-in filet mignon with a glass of Jordan cabernet for $70.

Tropicana Casino and Resort: Carmine’s inside The Quarter is going all out with a $69, 36-ounce prime rib chop served with broccoli rabe, onions, Portobello mushrooms and potatoes, as well as a four-pasta dinner for $40 that showcases classics such as vegetable lasagna and ziti Bolognese. Trop’s seafood restaurant, Fin, will make you feel like Fred Flintstone with a 22-ounce bone-in ribeye that was aged 28 days. The $58 feast includes stuffed baked potato, grilled asparagus, and a bourbon onion demi. Yum.

Harrah’s Resort: Bill’s Bar and Burger, a great place to bring dad because the kids will like it, too, is offering $2 Cold Ass Drafts for dads, as well as $3 mini vanilla and chocolate milkshakes for kids. Upstairs, Dos Caminos is creating special lobster enchiladas for $28. And The Steakhouse is offering an $85 prix-fize meal with shrimp “Cigars,” a dry-aged tomahawk chop and roasted banana whiskey cake with suggested pairings.

Caesars Atlantic City: Dad always loves a big steak, so head to Nero’s Tuscan Steakhouse for the $49.99 brunch that includes a great view of the ocean and Boardwalk, a carving station with slow-roasted prime rib and rack of lamb, sushi and more.

Showboat Casino-Hotel: One of the best steakhouses in town, Scarduzio’s Steak, Sushi, Lounge has a more inexpensive, $29.99 brunch with omelets made to order, carving station, Kobe fried rice and stuffed french toast.

Ballys’ Atlantic City: The Reserve’s $39.99 brunch features awesome desserts and amazing food from Executive Chef Joseph Muldoon. A special Marilyn Monroe edition of “Legends in Concert” will be offered 8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, as the impersonator will offer a rendition of “My Heart Belongs to Daddy.”

Atlantic City Country Club: Owned by Caesars Entertainment, the club offers a $140 golf outing that begins at 8 a.m. and includes prizes, brunch, green fee and more. Nongolfers can meet up after the round for brunch, too, priced at $29.95 for adults, and $14.95 for the kiddies. Or buy the hotel package at Caesars for $270 that includes deluxe overnight accommodations, two rounds of golf, two sleeves of ACCC golf balls, a free round of drinks and access to the fitness center.
