A big question I keep hearing is, “When will Revel’s retail shops open?” Walk through the long retail hallway — dubbed The Row — that has themed areas that include everything from a “Champagne Room” to a “Library,” and there are only a few shops already open, including Denim Habit, Hugo Boss and The Core, a Revel-themed sundries shop.
But a major opening will happen this weekend when Emporium, a 10,000 square-foot fashion store will take up the entire Red Room section of Revel, offering retail options on both sides of the hall. Slated to open Sunday, July 1, Emporium features 14 shop-in-shop brand concepts and 10 jewelers offering international brands, including some making their United States debut, such as Lui Jo of Milan, offering contemporary lifestyle merchandise; Masquenada of Italy, specializing in bikinis and swimwear; and Sandwich of the Netherlands, a global woman’s fashion brand.
Other luxury shops/brands include: shoes and handbags from Rebecca Minkoff, G-Star Raw, Yumi Kim, JC Rags, Religion and Jenna Leigh; and jewelry by Gemma Redux and Pomelatto; a DNA 2050 Denim Gallery with J Brand, True Religion, Hudson, Scotch & Soda and Rag & Bone; and more.
Emporium, created exclusively by Revel by IK Retail Group, a Washington, D.C.-based company. Each brand will 400- to 800-square-feet of space.
“This new concept took more than three years to develop as it is our intention to offer consumers the very best in each category,” says Iraklis Karabassis, owner of the Emporium, in a press release. “Revel is the ultimate partner in such an endeavor.”
The idea behind Emporium is to offer fashion-forward brands from exclusive labels you won’t find everywhere for both men and women. Footwear legend Vince Camuto will debut his first shop-in-shop concept at Emporium with shoes as well as handbags and more.
Luke’s Kitchen & Marketplace, a new, upscale quick-service option and Italian marketplace will also open before July 4. Situated next to Lugo Italian restaurant, the eatery is Luke Palladino’s third area concept, following Luke Palladino at Harrah’s Resort and Luke Palladino Seasonal Italian Cooking in Northfield.
Revel representatives said more options on The Row will open in the next couple of weeks, including a quick-serve coffee concept and a jewelry store.
The stores already open include: Denim Habit, a specialty store offering cutting-edge apparel for women ranging from jeans to dresses to accessories; and Hugo Boss, an international brand catering to men’s apparel, shoes and accessories.
