A weekend of music, cultural celebrations and a parade are all part of the second annual Multi-Cultural Heritage Festival in Atlantic City, taking place Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2.
The annual Multi-Cultural Heritage Parade begins 6 p.m. Friday on the Atlantic City Boardwalk at New Jersey Avenue, featuring marchers from African, Caribbean, Chinese, Dominica, Filipino, Greek, Indian, Korean and Pakistani cultures.
An Old School Concert takes place 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Gardner’s Basin, located at 800 N. New Hampshire Avenue, featuring Regina Belle, Midnight Star and Chuck Brown’s Soul Searchers. Admission is free. A “party under the stars” follows from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Surf Stadium. Admission is $10.
On Sunday, the non-denominational Gospel Fest with John P. Kee kicks off at noon at Surf Stadium. The daylong festival will feature gospel acts, dancers and presentations from around the world, as well as a children’s play area and vendors. Admission is free.
