Ono Chinese Bistro in Atlantic City’s Atlantic Club Casino Hotel will kick off its new Sunday Jazz Brunch Sunday, May 19, with live music, mimosas and endless food options.
Everyone enjoys Sunday brunch, says Atlantic Club's Executive Chef Ulirch Lohs, but there aren’t many brunch options available in Atlantic City. Ono Chinese Bistro is the only Atlantic City casino restaurant offering a gourmet brunch experience of this caliber, he says.
“It’s a beautiful venue overlooking the ocean with beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows,” Lohs says. “It’s a great place to be.”
The Sunday brunch will begin starting at 10 a.m. Sunday and continue until 4 p.m. It includes a $35 prix-fixe all-you-can-eat meal set up with a variety of food stations including made-to-order omelet and waffle stations, a pasta station, a sushi and seafood station, a carving station and more, along with a variety of specialty featured items each week, chosen and prepared by the chef.
“We’ll keep it interesting,” Lohs says.
Bloody Marys and Mimosas also are on special.
Jazz musicians will perform 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. during Sunday brunch. Performing Sunday, May 19, is John Colianni and Jay Leonhart. On May 26, the restaurant will feature music by John DiMartino and Warren Vache.
For those who want to skip the brunch and just enjoy the jazz performance and drinks, the Bar & Lounge is another option, offering $5 Bloody Marys and Mimosas and select discounted appetizers, aka “Jazz Bites.”
“It’s basically two different venues,” Lohs says. “A person can come in and enjoy the brunch or just sit at the bar and lounge and enjoy half-price appetizers and mimosas in a really beautiful space.”
